International Museum Day
18th May, '26
It's been a "Top of the World" feeling curating my maiden walk at National Museum on 18th May, '26 celebrating International Museum Day.
"Treasures of Tanjavur: Past, Present & Future" compared the favourite "Ram Darbar " in the two styles of Tanjavur techniques and the Mysore paintings and charming cuddly Navneet Krishna while detailing the layers of process involved in their creation.
The high point was showing to the group the original shield of Maharana Sangram Singh II, with 8 paintings in gold in Mewar Miniature style..and the canvas in gold, it inspired me to create.
A once in a lifetime experience indeed!
